"Thanks," Will
nodded and walked in. I walked over to the receptionist and waited until she
acknowledged me.
"Do you have any books I can read?" I
asked.
"Sorry, no," she smiled.
"Thanks anyways," I sighed and sat back
down. I picked up a magazine and flipped through the pages, not really paying
attention.
"Chloe, he wants to see us both," Will said
popping his head out the door.
"Finally," I murmured standing. Will moved
aside as I stepped through the doorway. "So," I said plopping back
down in one of those awful chairs.
"Mr. Packs, what were you doing right before Ms.
Gates found Simon's body?" the officer asked looking at Will.
"I already told you, I was watching Chloe,"
Will blushed.
"Told you!" I said triumphantly.
"You thought I was looking at you?" Will
asked looking at me.
"No, I knew you were looking at me," I
smirked.
"How?" Will asked.
"I'm not blind," I laughed.
"Why?" the officer interrupted.
"What?" both of us asked looking over at
him.
"Why were you watching her?" the officer
asked.
"I was going to go ask her if she wanted to
dance with me," Will said turning a deeper shade of red.
"Then what happened?" officer asked.
"She looked over, I smiled she looked into the
woods, then screamed," Will said.
"Do you agree Chloe?"
"Yes, that's what happened," I nodded.
